You have GOT to start your mornings off right. And I did so with some java and a bit of The Wild Bunch. Bill Holden, Ernest Borgnine, and The Dance of Death.
I opted in on the boat and we found a 24 footer yesterday which is mighty tempting. I'm gonna zip out to Edgerton later today to look at another one, though. The one we saw yesterday has a built-in grill, stereo - all the amenities for spending a nice day on the lake.
I'm off to the airport this morning to fix a 'puter. Personally, I think Winders needs to be wiped and reinstalled. But that's just me.
I downloaded a John Coltrane show from 1967 and a Leadbelly show from 1949. Both are really good. On tap I've got some Jethro Tull, Beatles, Wes Montgomery, and a Porcupine Tree show from Milwaukee.
There's this documentary on Marshall McCluhan that I keep seeing bits of on cable. But I wanna see the whole 9 yards. I saw Kill Bill, The Matrix Revolutions, and School of Rock this week. School of Rock was funny plus all the music references were kewl. The Matrix flick was pretty bad but it had way better pacing than Reloaded. Finally, Kill Bill was OK. Uma is hot but the dark humor didn't seem to flow as well as the fake blood. When it had ended, I chuckled to myself. Tarantino bitched up a storm about what Ollie Stone did to NBK and it seemed to me that Kill Bill was pretty much the same thing - dark humor, exaggerated violence. And the same DP - Bob Richardson. I fucking love his work! The high contrast with the really bright lights.
Alrighty then. More coffee....
