I was supposed to march in the 4th of July parade here in town. But, the group I was marching with wither changed the meeting place or they changed the meeting time. After 45 minutes of looking for them, I called. The organizer wasn't answering his phone, so I looked for another 10 min, then decided to head home. They called me 90 min later, as they were about to leave the staging area. Yeah, thanks for that!

Today was a bitch at work. I made a goof in my database query and so I messed a bunch of orders. Luckily they weren't processed yet, and so I was able to get everything corrected before any damage done. That was frustrating. Then my boss comes in and starts giving me shit because I asked a question to some people in another department. I told her I was just trying to find an answer to a question that a client asked me - because he had my email. She starts going on about how much time I must have wasted by writing an email to ask the question. And how if someone asks a question that doesn't exactly match my job description - well apparently I'm supposed to tell to fuck off and ask the person who handles the issue they are asking about. Not in those words, but that seemed to be the sentiment. In fact for all her bitching about wasting time, she actually spent more time chastising me then it took to write the email and ask the question. Whatever!
Last weekend I went to Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore for a concert. It was pretty good overall. I actually went to hear the "special guest," but the whole thing was good. There was actually an unannounced band as well. So the lineup went like this: Bad Seed Rising, then Halestorm. 3 Doors Down took the stage, and Daughtry finished things up. Personally, I think 3 Doors Down should have been the headliner. They were the best act out of everyone. So, 4 hours of concert, great local beer, fantastic views on the waterfront - yeah good time all the way around

Here's a photo dump of the concert:
Sunday went berry picking. There is a farm about an hour away where you pick all kinds of stuff: beets, swiis chard, peaches, and tons more. Went for black raspberries specifically though. You can never find those in the store, so if you don't a bush near you, then you are SOL. The jaggers can be a bitch, but if you're careful it isn't too bad. And a few scratches is worth finding the berries that are underneath and protected from the sun. They are the big juicy ones. MMMmmmm. Picked about 8 pounds, that should be good for 5 pies. Ooohhhh so good.
And last, I will leave you with a pic of my crazy cat Merlin. He is sooo not a normal cat. He loves to jump on my shoulders and sit, and he likes to be held like a baby and have his belly rubbed. The big goofball.
Hope every has a great week!!
Thank you for the support
