So, the Penn State Christmas party was last night. Not everybody could show up, but there still about 25 of us. We had a potluck dinner, and it was the most bizarre assortment of items we've ever had: artichoke dip, beef stew, flan, veggie casserole, black bean salsa. Nothing went together, but it still was a great time.

There was plenty of beer, wine, liquor, homemade mead, and more. The pollyanna gift exchange was quite eventful, plenty stealing and swapping. We could tell that it had been a rough year on the lot of us - half the gifts in the pollyanna were alcohol. Oi vey.

Merlin was quite unsure how to react. He loved all the attention from the little kids, but eventually became overwhelmed. He finally had to go downstairs to get a little break and space. But, after an hour he came back - that glutton

Had a nice breakfast with of the folks today. Played a few games, then it was back to Philly, Delaware, and other NoVA locales. All in all, great fun.
