First blog posts are usually terrifying so I'm just gonna jump right into it and help you get to know a little more about me!
I'm a small, cat-obsessed girl hailing from Toronto. You can usually find me wearing no pants, snuggled up in bed watching anything Food Network-related (currently Cutthroat Kitchen) or a classic movie (I like to fall asleep to Breakfast at Tiffany's). I listen to a lot of music and have a love for Elvis Costello and Joe Strummer...I have my ultra cool dad to thank for my widespread taste in music, though I tend to gravitate towards punk rock kinda stuff from MC5 to Gorilla Biscuits to Direct Hit! and everything in between! (Notable bands to listen to right meow: Brutal Youth, School Damage, Pears, Jon Creeden, Typesetter, lovechild, Valley Boys, TV Freaks)
I'm fond of all things magical and mystical, which spills into my love of crystals/gemstones and their healing properties, tarot reading, and my belief that the stars and planetary alignments play a significant role in my daily life. Call it hippy-dippy bullshit or whatever, but it works for me and keeps me (mildly) sane.
A big part of my life is keeping a positive mental attitude. I try to stay positive in most situations (sometimes things get us down and we just can't seem to shake it) and try to spread that positivity to others. It's so crucial to keep that PMA!!!
