This weeks blog homework is about the Blackheart Burlesque and how big of a fan I am. <3
I have been attending the Blackheart Burlesque shows since before I was even a hopeful. My first one was in Buffalo in 2013, my bf bought me tickets as a gift, I went in my black Victoria's Secret dress with my mohawk spiked up. At one point during the show, @katherine made eye contact with me and I talked about it all night. I was in love. I joined the site as a hopeful 2 months later.
The next time I went, I drove down to Williamsburg, Brooklyn to see it. I dont remember why I drove so far to see it, but it was an amazing show and so fun.
One of my most memorable shows I went to, I was a still hopeful. The next Buffalo date was actually a day after I shot Charmer in New York City (the set that made me pink). I drove up from New York and got in at like 3am, got some sleep, and then drove to Buffalo the next day. I had met up a few weeks before with @lascaux @sylah and @tengwar to do the promo and hang flyers so this was the first show that I got to go to the VIP and meet people, and since there were only three of us, we got to watch from side stage and even helped out grabbing the costumes off the stage in between numbers, after they are stripped off.
Last Spring I was one semester away from graduating, and the show closest to me, Clifton Park (3 hours away) was the night before my last final. Going to that meant that I would get home at like 3am and then get up four hour later for my exam. So I didn't go, and instead I left right from my exam to Detroit. I met up with @Lady and @Smashbase
This was my reunion with @lascaux after not seeing her for so long, and I was thrilled to get to see her on stage. She dances like a sexy princess. I also got to meet @Maud @zephi @mavis_ @daydream and @prurient for the first time. What a dream.
Next week, I am going to meet up with a few local hopefuls that I haven't met yet, and we're going to flier a nearby local city and I am SO excited. Unfortunately I am going to be in LA when the tour rolls around here, so that means that i will have to wait until May to see the show, but that means that I get to watch @SARIA dance. I also in love with her.
