I just looked over MIA's new set, and find it quite unique. I had a few choice words when people got upset. This is a site where people express themselves differently. I do not feel that it is acceptable to bash another's feelings. It is ok to disagree, but not accepting how they feel is plain bastardly.
Here is what I wrote about her, it was sporadic so it does have it's awkward moments.
"Damn, ok look at it this way. This set, while bearing somewhat of a resemblance to a certain historical event, has it's discrepancies. If one would take the time to actual view the images on an intellectual level, instead of huff and puff about how it is soo offensive to them, then they would notice that it is a social commentary on the status of things in the real world. Christmas (and all the commercialization that goes along with it) and Santa can be said to be sacreligious as well. Political cartoons do the same thing, they are a satirical look at something that is a a hot topic for the moment. If you don't like it, then don't look. As for the punks, the true punks, I think we can sit back and enjoy the simplicity of this art (and don't say it isn't art, because every girl who poses on this website is expressing themselves is a living piece of art). Then we can say "F off" to anyone who feels otherwise. Great Job Mia."
