Well I have wasted most of the morning. Got up... watched some Clerks. Watched Some Clone High. Watched my Lil bro play Sonic Heroes. Watched the fridge to realize there was no food in it. Then I decided to go deposit my check in my bank. I figured it would be a good idea to stop into sound exchange to see if there is anything worth buying. I wasted probably an hour perusing through the movies, almost buying Hellraiser. After looking at the case for a while, I figured that this was not the high quality cut that I did want. So I put it back down, and kept going. Tried to find some other movie with some sort of merit, that I can enjoy owning, but there was none to be found. Everything was utter crap. So I was about to drudgingly walk out the front door, empty handed, when a thought popped into my thick skull. "Why not check and see if there is any music I would like?" So I walked down, checked down an entire aisle, was about to give up, and then thought "Oh, it's a longshot, they most likely won't have it, cuz most people wouldn't give up their mindless self indulgence cd's unless they have singles." So I walk over to where they have em, and lo and behold there is a real tag with their name acting as a divider for them. Wow that means that they have more than one cd in the store. I was only looking for Frankenstein Girls, but figured at most they would have maybe the Thank God Sampler and probably Dispierto Los Ninos... when I placed my fingers on the divider and pushed it aside my body started trembling. Franksenstein Girls!! Only 6.99 complete with book (Sound Exchange only accepts cds if they are in mint to almost near perfect condition). Then I slowly pick it up, with a smile, like as if I was proud of achieving something great. What caught my eye after almost gave me a heart attack. There sitting right behind where the prior cd was placed was Tight. The Out-Of-Print extremely rare, extremely sought after piece of abstract art that ever graced the music genre. (Even though Jimmy Urine, the lead singer does not consider his work to be music... or art..., go fig.) The price was 8.99 most people that aquire this cd now pay at least 60 dollars for a used one with mild to moderate scratches. No! I was not going to be one of them. I paid only 8.99 for a copy in MINT condition! Slowly I lifted it out of the rack, carefully moving as to be sure not to hurt it, just as if it were a holy grail... then I clutched it and concealed it, as to not bring it to the attention of the other customers all sprawled throughout the shop. I was trembling for 25 minutes or so... when I got outside I secured it safely and brought it home. I am happy.
