Skate4Cancer event in Ottawa Sunday May 31st! so stoked to get this organized...we missed last year for The Cure Is Knowledge tour so I'm happy I managed to organize a date. It's happening in Confederation Park, beside the Rideau Centre and across from City Hall and there will be acoustic performances from Steve St. Pierre of Anchors, The Love Machine and Brighter Brightest! All great bands, check them out on myspace.

Other than that I am volunteering with S4C at Warped Tour for the Montreal date.
I actually recently got a The Cure Is Knowledge tattoo...will post a photo once it's fully healed, though the redness is gone already.
Back to school for me in the fall for college in Small and Medium Enterprise Management, which has nothing to do with my biology degree! I looked for a job for a bit and couldn't find anything...this "recession" isn't the greatest time to look to start a career so I opted for edumacation.
Life is rad! Tell people you love them! xo.

That's rough; my cousin did that commute last year! Me and the bfriend just moved to Ottawa, actually - hoping to get government jobs but looking for whatevs in the meantime.
The application process is ridiculous... now I'm applying to PSR jobs for this year, but I have a feeling it's a moot point because (I hope, at least) I should hear about the job I'm in the qualification pool for before those ones ever even interview! So tomorrow I'm hitting up the Rideau Centre as a temporary measure
My sleeve is being done by Scott Duncan, who is actually in Kincardine, so I'll be trying to squeeze in work around holidays mostly. BUT he is planning on getting work done in Montreal in the spring, and might be doing a guest spot at a shop there! So if you're interested in getting work done by him, give him a call and mention that - his wait for in-shop stuff is almost a year, so that's a sweet opportunity!
