Wow. Just got back from a show in Montreal tonight.

City And Colour opened for Dashboard Confessional. Both were amazing.

This was my second time seeing Dallas, and he had Casey Baker (of "Casey's Song" and Sleeper Set Sail fame) playing a second guitar at times and his cousin on the piano. It was pretty good stuff, though sometimes it seemed like Casey was just...

that's awesome! I've never seen Dashboard (somehow...) but I hear he's good. Was there a lot of acoustic or did they throw in the whole band for most songs? I'd love to see a little acoustic show of his, but I guess he's a bit big for that now... oh well. I love Dallas, though.

I have somewhat figured out some sort of timeline and am alright with it. I have set goals and approximate dates by which I would like them acheived. I'm not freaking out about this so much anymore, which is good!

Umm, skateboarding rules. I am going to start giving skateboarding lessons to beginners in my spare time, I believe. Make a little extra money, have...

So, I think it's practically official.

I'm in a transitionary phase in life.

What the hell does that mean? A lot of vague things. I'm very unsure of the future. I have to finish this B.Sc. first of all. I've given myself 2 years to do that. I want to move out after that, maybe take a year off and work in management at West,...

Thank you for your comment on my set! I am very glad you enjoyed it! kiss

Hope this dose of radioactive fairydust from the toxic land of the undead was enough to keep you satisfied until the next mutation. smile

Haha I know how that "transitionary period" feels... I think everyone does that.

I'm glad you liked the pic. It's Georgian Bay, and luckily the colours were already there for me whatever god knows I can't photoshop or anything.

So on Tuesday I am now officially "sponsored". That means when the kids ask me "are you sponsored?" I have to say yes, and then I have to say no when they ask if they can have my board. Because hey, it's just flow sponsorship from West 49. Which to some is a big deal, but to me, it's just representing the store where I...

That's cool man,i'm a skateboarder and skateboarding totally affected all my life, how i see things, the friends i have even the work i do.
Unfortunately in Italy getting sponsored or even more paid for skateboarding it's very very hard but on the other hand it helped to keep it something just for me just for fun.
It's cool you are sponsored i imagine you are proud of it and you must be.
Keep it real man!

that's really awesome, congrats!!! I wish I could skate, but I lack balance. I've been thinking about giving longboarding a try, because it looks like a more fun way of transportation than the bus.

Thanks for the compliment on my septum! I'm so used to hearing people call it wierd or ugly... most of my friends don't get the whole body mod scene, and are constantly criticizing tattoos and piercings. Glad to hear otherwise!! biggrin

So my teeth are more or less all better now. There are still threads in there and it's definitely still healing up, and I'm on penicillin (which I'm horrible at taking regularly, by the way), but I can eat pretty much anything now. I seem to have gotten a slight infection and so my jaw is still a little bit swollen. And the threads can...

I like the pics in your skate folder, nice one. I suck at skating but i try.
ra0ul:
It has to be done. I had that deck hanging from my wall for around two years like a peice of art. I only started skating this year around feb, i had a shitty board that i put some good wheels and bearing on until i got the hang of it. But after a few months and a serious case of razor tail, i thought the board mounded on my wall would look better under my feet. I complimented it with some indy trucks and now it's taken it's rightful place in the world. I'm sure i'll return it to the wall alonside my first deck - once it too is beaten up enough.

I'm currently trying to get some height in my ollies (i fear i might have taught myself some poor technic which is stopping me from getting any real height in them) and building up the desire to drop in on the half pipe after my first attempt got me doing a fine face planet. I have a lot of fun skating as it stands; taking my board most places but i think once i get the hang of both these aspects, i'll enjoy it tenfold.

Put some more pics up and i'll certainly return to more viewing.

Agh! I'm recovering from getting my wisdom teeth removed, so i'm on SG 12495472459273 times a day. And I am in pain. That's about all I have to say.

Also, I uploaded some pics! Some are skateboarding, and some of piercings/getting pierced and my tattoo photo is there too!
