Okay so it's been a million years since I updated this damn thing, but since I have a pretty valid excuse, I don't feel too bad about it. Here it is (and it even comes with a moral, so pay attention):
The weekend after Memorial Day weekend, I was in the hospital with Septisemia (blood poisoning) which I contracted from a severe kidney infection which in turn I got from a bladder infection I didn't know I had. Yeah. Ick.
So there I was with a 104 tempurature and blood poisoning and a heartrate of 147 and oxygen tubes in my nose and an IV in my arm through which seemingly endless bags of fluid was pumped and blood being drawn through my other arm and pain in my kidneys and the inability to both go to the bathroom by myself and to ingest food and neverending nausea AND ugly irate nurses. *sigh* Not the best way to spend a weekend, let me tell you. Oh and I dropped about 20 pounds and none of my pants fit me anymore and I was so weak that I pulled a muscle in my arm trying to use a stapler. *shakes head at self* Pathetic and sad is what it was. Not to mention scary.
So the moral of this whole thing is, if you get a bladder infection, make sure you know and make sure you take care of it right away or you could end up like me and waste 2 weeks being sick and inefectual and near possible organ failure/septic shock/coma. Oh and this is NOT the best way to lose weight, even though it worked like a charm.
On a happier note, i'm doing TONS better (Sydni can attest to this) and I totally rocked my math final and i'm about to get more hours at my fabulous job. So *hugs* for all and i'm glad i'm back in the land of the living...
