Ok, I was trying to catch up on reading journals. I made it through about 2 pages, and then it started acting funky and I couldn't go back any further. Feh.
Tonight was omiyage night for dinner: shumai from Yokohama that one of the teachers brought me, and a bottle of Nagoya miso beer that a coworker gave me. Miso beer is surprisingly tasty; I wasn't sure how it would be since it sounded like a weird combo.
Last night was the sayonara party for the JETs who are going home, since everyone's contracts are up at the end of July/beginning of August. It was a good time; lots of drinking, live music, karaoke, and it wrapped up for me in a 24 hour diner eating pizza that actually tasted like pizza. Awesome awesomeness.
Today I came home and slept for most of the afternoon since I hadn't gotten much sleep between getting back to my hotel and checkout time. Then I did some laundry, did battle with a spider who set up camp on my clothesline, and worked on some songs since I still think I'm gonna be a bloody rock star some day

Yeah, my job has tons of time off...rediculous amounts of it in fact. I hate saying sayonara to peepz out here. It's like you get to know them, have great times, and poof they're gone. And no one keeps in touch....le sigh.
