Let me just start by saying, 3 hours in a karaoke box split between 2 people makes for a fuckload of singing.
I went up to Nagoya today to visit a friend who I haven't seen in 6 years, since she moved back to Japan from Chicago. I'd been meaning to get up there for a while, so I'm glad I finally did. My wallet is less glad. It's a damn good thing I don't live in a big city or I'd have no money left. Then again, if I lived in the city I wouldn't need to buy everything all at once and stock up.
I wish I had something really cool and insightful to say, but a combined total of 6 hours on the train really wipes you out.
Also, no ink for me, at least not right now. The guy who brought up the tattoo party flaked out, and since I couldn't find out if anyone else I knew was going, I opted not to. The last thing I needed was to get completely stranded in a Japanese city I've never been to.
