My Spouse sent me to the store for Easter candy. She should never send me alone. I spent $60-ish on candy, eggs and novelties. I have ONE child. One. He's only four. I bought enough to cover his entire daycare class. She should never send me alone.
The trouble is, I see stuff that I woulda loved as a kid and think: "it's only $2.50, he will love this!" All the while the logical part if my mind (muffled under all the thoughts of a happy son) is still screaming "$2.50 isn't much but $2.50 TWENTY TIMES is still $50...dumbass."
So, the moral of the boring story is: She should never send me alone. Because I am dumb. Well, I guess it could also be "I love my son." Or "I am an impulse shopper." Screw it, find your own moral and that's probably what I wanted it to be...as far as you know.
