Well, I did say they had all but diagnosed me with Crohn's. The doctor said that the pictures and all the evidence he found in my colon and intestines pointed to "textbook Crohn's" and he just needed the pathology results back to confirm it. Well, yesterday afternoon he called me very excitedly and said that my pathology didn't have granules (or something) that are required for it to be Crohn's. So right now he's calling it an acute non-specific colitis. I've been on steroids, flagyl, pregnozone and an IV drip for so long but things have turned around very quickly, so I'll hopefully be let out tomorrow.
I have to come back in two weeks for a full colonoscopy again to see if Crohn's shows or if he can make a determination of what it is. Hopefully now it's just a terrible infection, but it could be a lot of things still - I guess. I don't know anything medical and don't really care to, so I'll just wait till he tells me what it is and what I need to do.
I've been sweating, though not terribly hot, in my room all day. It's disgusting and I want the hell out of here. This is day five in the hospital making this my longest, most painful admittance to the hospital in my life. Though, I've only been admitted once before when I was five for renal failure and that turned around amazingly enough in four days I think.
It's ridiculous how quickly this shit comes up. Wednesday I went to the Harry Potter IMAX with my dad and then puked at night. Thursday I had diarrhea in the evening. Friday more diarrhea and fever. Saturday was family weekend with terrible stomach pains and bloody stool. Sunday BAM ER. Sunday and Monday were awful awful awful days. They had me on morphine quite a bit, but I could only take it every four hours and it only lasted about 1.5 hours at best. Which left me to writhe and cry in pain for the rest of the time before they brought more. Apparently my intestines were filled with cold sore like pus sacks and cuts and bleeding which would explain the insane pain. The pain was inescapable and no one could help. My girlfriend just looked at me with pitiful eyes as I'd see her through tears and cries of pain all day long. But that's *hopefully* over now. Hopefully it's just an acute infection and I'll never deal with it again. We'll see though. Give me two weeks.
That's about it. Thanks Jynee and Izzy for the comments. Take care, I'll hopefully be out soon!

phoenixgirl:
I am glad your girl is there with you, im so sorry your having to go through all that, you would think they would be able to give you something that would last longer for the pain.
