Ok, let's see. What's going on in my life lately? Last week was my last week of classes! Yesssss. Tomorrow I start finals. Booooo. I'm not that concerned with finals though - the absolute worst GPA I could get this semester would be a 3.0, though I doubt it could even be that low. I don't put much store in finals, so I'm not thoroughly concerned. I'll be done by Wednesday evening!
I spent the weekend in Iowa City with my girlfriend. It was an unplanned trip, so it was short, but very nice. Friday night we ate at Bennigan's. Yummmmm. And then pretty much pooped out from there, I didn't get in town till fairly late. Saturday we got up, did it, then ran around town doing nothing terribly exciting. But in the evening we went to Riverside casino and lost $20 a piece. I'd never been to a casino before (for having just turned 21) except on a cruise - but we don't talk about that fiasco. $180 lost in drunken stupors... not a great time. Ha!
I've started running. I'm not exactly "in shape" and my girlfriend proposed running a 5k this summer. So I hopped on the training (having wanted to get in shape for several years) and am going at it. And of course, in true me fashion, I bought nice shoes with my birthday money and the Nike+ iPod accelerometer that tells me how far/fast and such that I go. It's really cool and makes working out much more entertaining.
That's about it for now. I'm going to eat some dinner and pretend to study for finals. OH! I'm mailing off a care package to my best friend in Iraq in the next few days. If you want to send him some boobs, send me the picture and I'll mail it off to him. I'm sure he's very, very lonely! Hahaaaaaa!

You kitty is adorable. I feel like I've seen this kitten grow up before my eyes! (sniffles) They grow up soo fast!!!
...and nothing is like spontaneous trips! I am a big believer in that!
