I just got back from the funeral. man that was tough. i have never seen a more crowded funeral.
there was like 4 rows of military there, and they all got up and told stories about chad.
then the preacher said all soldiers and veterans please stand..and then he said give chad your final salute. that was the tear jerker. i just hugged my friend randi and kissed her,..and she was trying to walk out but she said her legs were weak and was about to fall and had a soldier on each side of her. i feel so bad for her..
then the line to the cemetary was about a mile or 2 long. i walked up and realized it was were jays dad was buried and he is being buried right near his dad so that was kinda tough being there for another funeral and first time back after jays dads funeral.
they folded the flag and gave it to my friend and then saluted them. then, they did the 21 rifle salute...the funeral was very pretty...but very sad.
i dunno...i have another friend over there that i have some unfinished businness with that i love so much and im so scared for him.
lets just all pray for our soldiers and the families of our soldiers..

he was only 23 years old and leaving behind a wife and a 2 yr. old daughter
