ugh.
I'm fighting off a lurgy. Saturday was spent looking at extremely depressing rental properties. Immigration to Sydney has now legally been halted, so the next city of choice is Melbourne. 50,000 people immigrated to Melbourne last year... 58 new rental properties came on the market. It is *brutal* out there.
I'm going to inspect a few more this week, but this weekend is crunch time. We have until the 6th of August to be out of our place and I dont fancy being fucking homeless *again* this year.
Saturday afternoon we went to the Savers at Frankston. Whoa. Just WHOA about Frankston. That place is fucking scary, and all the kids look like they are out of a cover of VICE.. all uber uber fashionistas. Terrifying. I did score some hot sunglasses and a cool scarf, now I can jaunt about town looking uber lezzo. Saturday night I arranged for the screening of Rollerball at Glitch cinema (which is a FREE cinema that anyone can hire, which officially cemented Melbourne as the coolest place on earth) Rollerball is a cack. Whoa just whoa.
Speaking of uber lezzo. I feel almost ready for a relationship. I want the waitress at Gin Palace. Give her to me! I met a girl scarily close to my own horoscope imprint last night (her Dec 27th 1979, me Jan 9th 1980) and she made me excited about girls again.
So once a fortnight I will be counting down my top 10 films of all time at the Glitch cinema. It seats 40 people so I wont advertise it I think it will be invitation only. The film programme is:
1. pink flamingos
2. blue velvet
3. dead ringers
4. heathers
5. delicatessen
6. leon
7. the hudsucker proxy
8. eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
9. bowfinger
10. being john malcovich
EXCITING.
and then after that I think I will write programmes of themes. This is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me! My own cinema to comandeer!

Knitting clothes isn't too bad as long as you realize one sweater sleeve may come out slightly different than the other
I recently sent an employee of mine to work in Melbourne. It took him several weeks to find a place to rent. I was shocked when he relayed the orderal to me. Best of luck to you.
And that movie list, excellent! I'm a huge David Lynch fan (and love your profile pic). I still recall the first time I watched Blue Velvet. It was quite an experience as some occurences outside my apartment mimicked the movie while I was watching it. Very surreal.
Anyway... take care!
