Photoshop Color Correction

Photoshop Pro Photography Handbook

Cool! The wedding work sounds pretty nice, and I'm sure you will do a kick ass job....

As for the lenses, personally, I'd go for a 24mm 1.4 for now. Very practical shooter... and I think you'd get more use from it in general that a super wide (which seem so gimicky unless you pull it off just perfectly). I also wouldn't waste the dough on an off brand zoom.... save the money and get top rate glass. The cheaper stuff is slower, heavier, and usually has so many aberrations they aren't worth shooting with.

Personally, I like primes. But I know in some settings (like weddings) it's far easier to shoot with a good zoom. In my bag of tricks I have a 24mm f/1.4, a 50mm f/1.4 and a 28-105mm f/3.5... I *really* want to replace that zoom with a 24-70mm f/2 and a 135mm f/2 prime.

Anyway, I digress... I haven't had time to shoot anything in ages, so it doesn't matter much, I suppose.

*sigh*

Yeah, I don't know that I've ever talked about photography here... but I am into it--or was, back before school. smile

I hear you about the expensive glass, and you're right, for wedding stuff, the cheaper stuff will be just fine. My love of primes comes from the fact that I actually used to shoot *motion* photography... I had my own Super 16 kit with a set of Zeiss primes. Good god, I loved those lenses.

Anyway, I sold that gear a while ago to help pay for my new education, being a tool for the man.

Hehehe. smile

Those are great photos. The colours are vivid and great to look at.

Nice glasses too. I hope that they are light and comfortable to wear.
