As for Charlotte, I loved that she finally got out from under Bunny's thumb. The divorce was a nightmare for her. And I like that by loosening up, she was able to find love in the last place she expected. But what really stuck out to me was how she went on her journeys of self-discovery. It broke my heart when she was doing all the self-help courses and not finding what she needed, but she kept getting back up again. And when she miscarries with Harry and she just shuts herself away it killed me. I love that she found a role model in Elizabeth Taylor and still went to Brady's birthday party. And how she (and really all of the girls except for Carrie) discovered happiness by not trying to find it where they expected to. Miranda in Brooklyn with a family, Charlotte with a bald, Jewish man with a litter of puppies, and Samantha in love with a man who loved and respected her back. Yeah, aside from Big coming back at the end, I'm a huge fan of the last couple of seasons of the show. I mean I love the whole run, but the last years were the best.
And as much as I loved Devil's Rejects, I have no love for House of 1000 Corpses. I'm weird.
*edit to add more about Char* She was the emotional rock of that show and that group of friends and she never gave up. She came close, but no matter how much shit life threw at her, she kept her head held high and proud. An admirable trait for anyone to have.
