just finished my 2nd week of classes for the quarter
i'm taking a class called "lighting for commercial photography"
it's pretty interesting so far
and it's with the teach that has ushered us through pretty much the whole program
so i like him a lot, needless to say
this pic is from my first shoot
i just got the idea last night
the assignment was to find a product, get some props, and light it
i am not sure how well i did
(this is just a digital proof, i had to shoot the real pics with film, so the composition is a little off here cause i only shot it to check the lighting)

The only thing I can notice as a potential negative (and this is up for debate because it may be my monitor, or the quality of the digital proof vs the original, etc), but it looks a little under lit overal. The shadows coming off of the whole lemon and the toothpaste in particular, are a little distracting. But then again, I haven't taken a photography class in nearly a decade, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. But aside from that one tiny thing, it looks great
