I had the most wonderfully lonely day...

After getting my hair cut and helping my mother entertain kids at school for a couple hours, I went to the city centre to do some Christmas shopping. I got very little done, but had a great time looking around at the German market and all the decorations. This was one of the few times since I was a kid that i've recognised the appeal of the season.

I then went to a pub for a curry and a couple of pints o' cider, sharing a table with some complete strangers who didn't talk to me. I waited for an hour for my food (which I passed reading Witches Abroad so wasn't too bothered by) and it was rather good. Yes, that does mean I have now gone six days without being completely sober

Then I came home directly to write my journal entry, which no-one will read. Like I said, wonderfully lonely
