my monitor died. i'd been trying to turn it on since yesterday. i would hear a click, the power light would go on, the screen would go on for half a second, then it would go black and the power light would go out. pause one second and repeat.

i know this is going to sound snobbish, but a crt is hard to get used to after years with a flat pannel. and not just because it sits a foot closer to me.

ah well... i'm seeing if i can get it fixed cuz i really don't want to shell out for a new flat pannel right now...
