well, no job hunting for me.
i talked to my boss, and while we're in agreement that i need the experience that night shifts will provide me, i explained to him that i just can't manage to work 4 night shifts per week.
it's not just about the money (although that is probably the main reason. i do wanna buy a house in the near future after all), but i also have a kid to raise, and it's just not acceptable if i only get to see him for 5 mins per day (or less) before he goes to daycare in the morning.
next week, i guess i'll work on getting more hours. cuz part of the problem i have right now is not just that i'm working nights, but also that i'm only getting 5 and 6 hour shifts. if i were getting 8 - 10 hour shifts at night, it wouldn't be as big of a problem. it would still be costing me way to much, but at least it'd be turning a profit.
