Yesterday was fantastic! It was my first 8 hour day since August 18th. I went from campus to campus, upgraded Macs and got info on things I needed to do for class today. I'm totally pumped to teach! Woo hoo!
I met some cool people and one of them, a woman named "Tara" was very funny. People were really nice, including students. I watched someone do the "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge" thing with the treble clef. I figure, hey, come on! These are good boys. Let's give them what they really deserve, right? "Every Good Boy Deserves Fellatio." I mean, seriously...
Did you hear that? That's the sound of me losing my job at MSB... So, I keep my mouth shut.
Then, in the evening, my friend Joanna picked me up and we went roller blading around Lake Calhoun - twice. It was glorious! We went to Lunds and picked up some food. We went to her place and watched "Species," which was just totally bad. We also watched the "Chef Aid" episode of South Park.
I left and went home to Delfino Manor, which now has gutters! I checked my email and I had a nice long message from Lilith, my favorite Suicide Girl, who is quickly becoming my friend. Like Maria, she is from Argentina. We have many interesting conversations. She is really a very, very cool woman.
All in all, a fabulous day. I think I'm finally getting happy again. My latter half of summer was a very difficult time for me. Today will be challenging and fun as well. Today is my first class teaching ever! Wish me luck...
