Hello world of Suicide Girls! So, a lot has been going on in my life, and I mean a lot. Lets start with a recap, in December Kristina and I decided we were going to go poly, get into better health (I specifically avoided use of the world shape, as that doesn't include everything we are wanting to change), and follow our dreams finally. Well, fast forward to February, when we came out as poly to all of our friends, which was interesting, and terrifying, and relieving all at the same time. Our families still don't know for now as we are both pretty sure they would disown us.Fast forward to now, I fell in love with my best friend (outside of my wife) Felicia and we are going together.
Her husband is fully aware and he and I get along. Unfortunately he is in the Air Force and they live in Texas, so, yeah, its been a long distance relationship…which might get even longer in the next two years, but more on that later. On the other side of things though, its been a bit bumpy for Kristina and I, and not because of Felicia. Kristina has been battling depression since we met, and I have always been here to support her, and do my damnedest to be the best support I can be, but, every now and then she does this thing where because I am happy she won't talk to me about it because she is afraid I will be brought down to, and it has caused some problems…luckily I got her to open up and talk, reassured her of how much I love her and will support her in what ever she does.
Teagan is also doing well, hard to believe he will be 8 months old on the 30th.
Onto the health part of this blog. It has been hard to get Kristina motivated but we have finally gotten somewhere, though thats not really a big part of what this bit is about. I have officially gone Vegetarian *GASP*, yeah, its true,I have gone Vegetarian. Made the choice a week ago, and so far have stayed true to the change, despite intense stares from her family when we went out with them to a steakhouse and I ordered a house salad, no bacon, no chicken, with oil and vinegar dressing, and a side of seasonal vegetables. Anyway, my reasons are simple, it is healthier, I no longer feel sluggish after a meal, as a matter of fact I usually feel really good after eating now instead of feeling like I need a nap, I feel like going for a jog, its a nice and welcome change.
We now continue on and enter The Dream State. Haha, no really, this part is the part about us pursuing our dreams, so here we go. As it should be at least some what well known, or maybe not, I have always wanted to be a musician, ALWAYS, in Elementary School I was in honors choir, and played in the beginners orchestra, in Middle School I continued playing in the orchestra and played in multiple talent shows, thats also when I picked up guitar. In college I went to school for music business for a semester before dropping out. Fast forward to now, I still play guitar, piano, and am learning to compose, in the fall I will be returning to school for a degree in humanities, and a minor in music composition. I play and write Symphonic Metal, which is a beautiful genre of music. My lyrics so far have been very political, and anti-religion in governments. You would have to read them to really figure out what I'm going for…or just listen to Epica or Mayan as both of them are the same. Though we are closer to Epica.
Anyway, that is what has been going on in my life recently. Here are some thought provoking, true, and funny pictures for you to enjoy!
That one is actually from the day Teagan was born, we were sitting at home and I was working on writing guitar parts for a song, I got the idea for the picture when I was playing a part and he kicked, hard. Don't know why it is upside down though.
