You ever have one of those days where you think you just should have stayed in bed. Today has been one of those days.
Hear me whine.
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
When I got home from work this morning I was feel good. I did my stretches for my back and then work out for an hour, then I passed out and slept like a baby.
I woke up at around 5pm hungry as a bear and started to make my self some dinner. Now I pretty good in the kitchen, but for some reason every thing I tried to make tonight became a culinary disaster.
After a quick survey of the contents of my fridge I decided to make chicken scampi over pasta. So I put the water on to boil, but after I put the pasta in I realized that there was not enough water in the pot. Easy enough to fix. I took this large picture/measuring cup thing I have and filled it with water, then added the water to the pot.
Problem solved, right? WRONG!
As turns our the measuring cup had soap residue on it which was now in my pasta. D'ho!!!
Fine past was ruined, but I still had the chicken. I made up my scampi sauce (oil, butter, garlic, basil, oregano) in a frying pan and add the chicken and man did it smell good. So I said to my self why not make a little more sauce to put on the chicken after it's done cooking. So I quickly whipped up some more, but I had no more burners left on the stove (I only have two the work right). I put in a "microwave safe" dish and put in the microwave for one minute and thirty seconds with out thinking about it. When time when the timer went off I opened up the microwave to find a hep off smoldering and melted plastic. D'oh!!!
For anyone who doesn't know this, hell I just found out myself, you shouldn't nuke oil in a plastic dish. Microwave safe or not. It likes to make things melt.
For dinner I had PB&J's.
After I destroyed the kitchen my back was a little tight from my workout this morning so I did my stretches for my back and made my back worse. Know I was stuck on the floor. I crawled to my phone and called out of work for tonight took my pain meds and soon with any luck I will soon my back will stop hurting.
Oh!! And did I say I a have finals in the morning.
just keep the back moving, if you sit still to long it'll lock up and feel worse.
later
Take care
