George Noory played Tricky for his bumper music the other night! This made me smile.
I broke my glasses this morning. They've been dropped, sat upon and caught on fire... they've been through hell with my ditzy ass, and I finally stepped on 'em with my bare feet and snapped them in half. I was chasing kitties.
Normally the babies will sleep through the night. But, 4:30 a.m. those little brats decide to start tear assing around and running laps around my room. I hear all this rustling and crashing and every few seconds a kitten would graze my head. So, I finally just get up and start stomping after them so I can kick their asses out and go back to sleep. Then, ::crunch::. Fucking dammit.
Oh well, those glasses sat crooked on my face anyway.
I got to meet Lorelei today!! Drove out to Joshua Tree and spent a few hours taking pictures. Hopefully we have a set. She is so much fun and I had a great time. Joshua Tree is beautiful! I'm going to have to find a way to get back that way for some lax time.
There is a Metaphysical Institute out that way that I'd like to look into, though I'm still very interested in Barbara Brennen's school, especially after reading Hands of Light and most of Carlos Castenada's books. Lots of parallels.
Driving to and from Joshua Tree made me think about this Christopher Pike book. One of The Last Vampire series novels. A woman became pregnant while blacking out in a forest or Joshua Trees. I also thought a bit about the time I saw a UFO with my aunt when I was 7 or 8 years old.
Fact: The Last Vampire is how I got the name Sita. She is the main character in the series.
I start school in a couple weeks!! Eep!
