I started doing yoga again today. I started with an extended sun salute and Tiger got very excited about it. Chewing my yoga mat, scratching my toes, biting my chin as I went into other poses. Cobra, upward dog, downward dog, the warrior poses, a bow, full lotus.. etc., etc.
Now I'm relaxing with some of Buffalo Bill's Orange Blossom Cream Ale and Chuck Palaniuk's Lullably.
Went shopping yesterday with my little brother and sister. He got some new pants and shoes. It's hard for him to find things he likes to wear because he's very tall and has big feet. We had to hit up more than a few stores for him to find items he actually wanted in his sizes. Throughout the different stores and malls, I would sporadically mimic Anna Nicole by thrusting my hands in the air and shouting, "TrimSpa, Baby!!!" I really need to stop watching TV.
He's progressing really well with his guitar playing. He got over Slipknot and is all about Steve Vai now. I teased him like, "Oh, so you finally want to learn to play guitar for real?" No more fat strings and down tuning. He's turning out just the way I wanted him to.
I had loaned him my old acoustic while he was in high school guitar classes because they didn't allow electric guitars. During a recent visit I went to pick up my acoustic and when I open the case - no guitar. I ask my brother about it and he says, "Oh. Uh... I have some bad news about that. See... one day in class I put it on top of the piano and went to get another guitar, when it kinda fell... and, uh. The headstock fell off." I'm not mad, it's actually kinda funny.
