I am in CowTown!!! Or, ermm.. Stockton, California! So suck. But I've been having a good time with my friend George and his lady. She and I are karoke thee whores out in these parts. We went out last night and wrecked it. People had been asking for me from the last time I did karaoke out here... I'm such a ham. And a drunk. So drunken ham moi = big fun! And nevermind the fact that itty bitty tittied me was wearing a corset too big and my tatas kept tumbling out of the top. Other patrons kept asking me, "what songs are you doing next?" I was like, "I don't know! I'm too drunk so I forgot! It's a surprise!" It's more fun that way, except for the time I got so drunk that I thought I could pull of Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit. Sooooooooo bad!!!
Got to see my brother and sister today. Took my brother out and showed him how to use his new debit card at the ATM and do point of sale purchases with the card. It's so cute how nervous he is about all that stuff.
I'll be spending tomorrow in Oakland with my sister and her in-laws. Should be interesting. They always have lots of beer. Then it's back to The City to wrap up a few more details before I depart for LaLaLand to begin my new year.
It's so interesting how much I'm missing San Francisco now that I know I won't be living there any more. I got so caught up in the day to day that I missed out on a lot of the little things. I walked to the BART station yesterday and just took it in. The people. The restaurants. Bars. Clubs. All these things that I never took the time to see or do. I don't have a favorite hang out. I don't have a favorite restaurant. What did I do with all this time? Moving away will be good. I can learn to appreciate The City as a visitor. More than I've ever been able to embrace it as a resident.
Anyhoo, I'm all dolled up with makeup and such. Off for another night of drunken karaoke.
