Yaaaaaaaay!! I've got my internet back! Fuck, that was fast! I luurrrve SpeakEasy. I was determined to get DSL not thru SBC, ATT or any of those giants. Plus, I didn't want a phone line. Housemates and I all use cellaphones, a phone line is an unneccessary expense. SpeakEasy said, "Fine!". 
And they didn't make me wait three weeks for the equipment, appointment and set up.
Since I've been away, two awesome aquaintances of mine have joined up! I have known nikstar44 for the past three years, probably. Only thru another website. But I love his prose. He's such a talented writer. Also, my friend and photog, rasterbate is here. He's so easy to talk to and work with. And he's open to my insane ideas for sets.
Next week, Courtney Love will be in town and I'll be checking her out along with SG Live!, then I think I'll be off to Los Angeles on Halloween to check out my longtime lovely man, cryptorchid and his band, Crypt Orchid at The Viper Room. November! Early November my friend Eric and his band Codeseven are going to be back in California on some tour stops. So I'm going to head back to LA and catch them at The Troubadour. The only problem with that is, heh, I'm supposed to be in Las Vegas that day. Well, that's okay, no reason I can't get from Vegas to LA that night.
Ooooh!! OMG!! I met The Misfits last night!!! Okay, well not the entire band.. but Jerry Only!!!! I was at this hotel standing out back smoking a cigarette with a girlfriend, and I see their roadie wearing a Misfits Tee, and I'm just gawking at him and he's watching me, like, "What??!" So, I blurt out, "Are they staying here???!!" After some hesistation, he admits "some of the guys are". So, I stop bothering him. Then later, I'm out back again, smoking another cigarette, and Jerry Only walks by!! Ack! I just fuckin' stood there! Staring!!
So he says to me and my friend, "Two pretty girls standing at the back of a hotel! What's up with that?!" I just giggled at him, and he kept walking. I'm such a dork. A major dork. I never usually get so starstruck... but, The Misfits. That band is a big part of my personal history. I was in awe.
The union called me today saying that my old employer is going to FedEx me some official paperwork regarding my "job abandonment". They suggested it would be in my best interest to officially resign by 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning, or return to work under probationary status. So, I guess now that I have the internet, I should write a letter of resignation and email it off to everywhere.
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I just want to party all the time!! Everywhere!! Where's the party? Where's the party? I started calling most everyone in my phonebook on a Sunday night like, "Where's the party??" Of course, I thought it was Saturday and didn't understand why everyone was being so moody and mopey.
Anyhoo, I'm off. rasterbate and I have some photos to review.

Darlin, I've been fighting for over a month to get my hard drive fixed without losing any information. I lost some, because it got so corrupted, but in the end, I found a freeware data recovery tool, and finally things ate good! Oh god, it's nice to be on my computer again!!!
