What a day. I stayed up way too late last night hanging out with my new housemate and a few people. We drank wine and ate pizza and wings. YUM!!
My new housemate is so fuckin' hot! She's from Chile and has the cutest accent. Everytime I look at her I just can't get over how adorable she is. And I notice it with the boys, too... they keep talking to me, but they're looking at her. S'okay. I think it's funny.
She's was a pretty well known photographer in Chile, it seems. She showed me a few magazines that featured her works. I'm stoked. I have a live-in photographer now!
Placement testing at city college went as excepted. I failed miserably at math and scored exceptionally well in English. I haven't taken a math class in over 5 years. I'm completely ignorant when it comes to anything other than the very basics. I knew I was in trouble during the test when the first few questions were all fractions. Suddenly, I was 17 years old again, crying and banging my head on the desk because I didn't even know where to begin trying to solve the problem. Anyway, my scores were Math: See a counselor! English: Advanced Intermediate... and I would certainly hope so, considering it's my first and only language.
So, I'm thinking about majoring in English. Or music. Or media arts. Or journalism. Or... fuck. I'm so confused! Can't I just be a professional student?
I was thinking I could major in English, take some supplementary courses and become a Research Assistant or some shit with my current employer. They'd pay for it, too. All I need to do is submit my proposal. Hmmm.... I love to research things. I used to spend hours on the internet just finding out about stuff. I've also been accused of being "nosey" on more than a couple occassions, mainly because I tend to ask a lot of questions. Or the same ones over and over again like, "Why?" or "How come?" I don't particularly care one way or the other... I don't do anything with the info. I just like to know.
Or... maybe I can become a physicist! They just get to wonder why and how come all the time! But, they hafta be good at math, too. And it's that crazy math with all the weird formulas and such. Dagnabbit.
I'm tired. Time for wine and a bath.
I've decided that I need to see some Tigers. I want to go to the zoo. Now.
