Hellooo this is from my my space - but its rather amusing so I thought I'd share it with you all too!!!!
Last Saturday, whilst picking at the carcass of half a Nandos chicken, Joe, Lauren, Martyn and myself came up with the ultimate list of inappropriate funeral songs!
This list came about after Joe explaining to us that one of his work colleagues, had to rush off after their business trip to attend his Grandfathers wake, nothing unusual about this sombre event. only his grandfather was still very much alive! Apparently he just wanted to see what his wake would be like and enjoy it!
From there the discussion moved to what songs would be amusing to have at a funeral, don't get me wrong I'm all for people selecting their favourite tunes to be played whilst being laid to rest, it's a pleasant reminder to relatives and friends of the person just passed and it can be an uplifting round up to the ceremony but you have to admit there are some songs that just shouldn't be played, down to THE IRONY
And here is where the list beganhere's a few of my personal favourites
But if can come up with any more, leave a comment and I'll add it to the list!! J
