Out Damned Spot!
I felt that I wanted to clean out the negative ions of my journal today by starting fresh starting new and letting every thing come up roses.
So I've come up with a new hobby, downloading Victorian Mourning photographs off the internet and studying them up close.
I keep kicking myself because several years ago after a dinner date with someone who's name escapes me now (eons before I married the love of my life) I went to a seemingly independent little bookstore and found the most fascinating book . It was called Sleeping Beauties, Victorian Memorial Photography or something like that, and you know what? The treasure was only $60.00 but did I buy it? No. Why? because I had just paid for dinner and was nearly skint.
You see when I was dating, I had what may be to some a strange set of morals, Or maybe I was just honorable. If I didn't like the person I was with, I always paid so I didn't owe then anything. but because of this, I lost out on that book. two weeks later when I was flush with cash again, there was not a copy to be found. Gone daddy gone. And now it sells used for $300.00.
So I look to the internet, it's a real game of seek and find, but yes it's my new hobby, my new escape. My new "Something to do when not journaling, or writing my book or cleaning my house. Or doing the things a married woman with four cats and a dog should be doing" Speaking of which, I hear Albertson's.com has revived their home delivery service, guess I'll go have a look at what they have for me and my Famn Damily...
And hey, to all of you, Thanks so much for your words of kindness and support in reply to my last entry, it actually really helped my spirits to know that there are people out there who know and understand that
juno106 and I are good people, and we have it in ourselves to stand up and say "FUCK OFF" if someone is disrepectful to us. And that if someone does that then they simply are no friend of ours.
Fangs Alot!
