It's a new month, so we have a new Tarot deck. This time it's the Mythic Tarot, which gets its imagery from Greek mythology. Pretty cool. Your card for today is:
Queen of Swords: (the descriptions in the book are really long, so I'll try to cut to the chase) "When the Queen of Swords appears in a spread, it is time for the individual to meet that dimension of himself or herself which clings unswaying to an immovable faith in high ideals. These ideals may be noble and lofty, and help to improve consciousness and the quality of life. But they may also reject life, and be a defense against the fear of being human and therefore vulnerable to hurt."
Hmm, I can relate to that...
For those of you who were wondering, Tribal Quest Northwest is a big 4-day extravaganza of Tribal bellydance workshops, classes, parties, performances and general schmoozing, hosted by Caravan Studio, where I work. It's going to be absolutely insane til Sunday night, so you might not be seeing too much of me til then. Wish me luck, strength and intestinal fortitude...
