And your tarot card for today is:
Ten of Cups, reversed: "Peace and happiness is a purring cat. No other animal can express pleasure and contentment as eloquently as a cat. Despite their love of independence, cats can be very loving animals. Five well-fed and well-loved cats are giving love in return. The cups are arranged in niches, forming a sculptural, architectural pattern in the background. To emphasize the calmness of the scene, they are placed in a stable position, upright, and they are full. Reverse Meanings: Loss of friendship. Unhappiness. Family quarrel. Pettiness. Rage. Combat. Strife. Opposition. Differences of opinion."
Hmm. Well, here are a couple pics from our visit with Mom last weekend!
Mom and I certainly have our differences of opinion on some things, but she's still the raddest Mom I know. During this visit she said, "Well, you didn't turn out like I expected, but you turned out all right."
Yes, I am a goddamn dreadlocked sandal-wearing (well, not in this pic) patchouli-stinking tree-hugging hippie. Bite me. I grew up with this oak tree and several others in my back yard in Oak Harbor (a well named town, indeed), WA. I think I may be a closet Druid. Oh - and I assure you I do wear other things besides this dress. Really. I do.
