I had my Conscientious Objector investigative interview last Thursday and I cannot say enough how well it went. Still, as a Staff Sergeant with almost 10 years of service, I would not have went this route if I didn't fully believe in it.
I was able to submit two articles I had written, one in May 2003 after I had re-enlisted but before I had shipped out about how proud I was to go back into the Army (having been honorably discharged in Jan 2002) and an article I wrote in October 2004 while home on R&R from my first tour about how much taking a life sucks and how all life is precious.
With those two articles, I feel I can establish a pretty damn good timeline.
I have a good feeling.
