I've spoken with the Chaplain and a Mental Health Provider on my CO claim. Both were check-the-block-type appointments and now I'm just waiting to be investigated.
Meanwhile, the Fort Hood chapter of IVAW is growing faster than I'm comfortable with. IVAW is growing all over the country faster than the organization can deal with it, but I know the Austin and Fort Hood chapters (the two I work the most with) are growing quickly.
We had an IVAW BBQ at Fort Hood for Memorial Day and the number of MPs that casually drove by was amazing. Sometimes the MPs don't know where their authority ends, but we let them know...
... and we've won every time. haHA!
