I'm thinking of starting an ultra-liberal organization dedicated to combating the embarassingly vindictive nature of the military by offering scholorships, education assistance, and job placement for servicemembers with less than honorable discharges.
Let's face it, in an all-volunteer military, those who go further than the other 99% to at least give it a try don't deserve to get prejudiced against if they decide not to go their full term. I also think it will help give back to soldiers their right to choose what to give their life for. I'm so sick of that "you don't get to choose your battles" crap!
At any rate, organizations are hard to start up. I'm just kicking around this idea.
