It's the underwater-bug-type crabs. Not crabs crabs. Usually when someone refers to the underwater-bug-type crabs, they just say "crab." Example "I heartily dislike eating crab."
Just remember this little nursery rhyme, "Crab requires butter and a little hammer, crabs require a blue ointment and a little comb." Oh, and contrary to popular belief, shaving will not get rid of the crabs.
