Rox's set is really hot! Can you believe she is 35???
Still homeless. Found a duplex today that is pretty big, kinda trashed, but the people were just evicted & moved out yesterday so nothing has been done to it yet. Filling out applications tonight & turning them in in the morning at 9:00 am. Fingers crossed that the aps get accepted
We got a cosigner which should make a difference & hopeful help us to get it. I don't know how long they take to process the application before we will know if it is accepted or not. One lady said the place would be ready at the end of next week... but they gotta do a lot of work to it.
My asshole landlord decided to tear this place down next week and didn't plan on telling anyone
But we told him we couldn't be out til the end of the month so he really doesn't have a choice but to wait. I can't believe the asshole told us that he wanted us out in 6 freaking days. Oh well, that's life.
School starts in a couple of weeks. I'm gonna kill myself this semester... I am taking 6 classes
I don't know if I can handle it, but I'm planning on finding a way so that I can graduate by the end of next summer (this time next year). I'm taking 5 art history classes....
that's not gonna get confusing....lol.
The good thing is that once I'm done I am moving back to my hometown, the little old hole in the wall out in the middle of no where, but I like it better there. Plus no more worries about being homeless and moving every single year!! My deddy is giving me land to put a house on. Haven't decided if I'm gonna get one built or just get one of those modular homes.
Whatever I do it'll still be cheaper than living here
I'm thinking about teaching, I can get a masters there and teach while I'm working on it. But I think I'm gonna take a little bit of time off of school. I already have the best job in the world lined up for when I move home. My brother is disabled and I can get paid to watch him
How sweet is that... I can get paid to do something that I've done since I was 10 and do for free anyway!! And if I decide to be his primary caregiver after my deddy decides to transfer it over to me.... the pay is ridiculus. My brother gets 24 hour care, right? So that's $11 an hour for 24 hours for 7 days a week... which comes to a little over $96,000 a year
Plus the way it works is that I can hire someone to watch him say 8 hours of the day if I want to teach still and say pay them $8 an hour then I still make $3 an hour off them while doing nothing. Which still comes out to like $73,000 a year... Not too shabby
