I finally got to see "The American". Great flic. One of the few movies without the staccato-type editing. It takes its time in telling the story. I guess that's why most people thought it was slow and boring. A big part of its appeal is the beautiful scenery in Nothern Italy. It's one of my favorite parts of the world. Everything is simple and reduced. I love that. It lets you breathe and forget about all the stuff that clutters your every day life.
I've decided to do a bit more work with my art of manifestation teacher. Not because I have or need to, but because I enjoy the process of getting to know me a bit better every day. When I took her online class at the beginning of the year, it was one of the best decisions of my life. A life saver. I'm so much more in tune with myself, I feel happy most of the time and hardly worry about anything these days. And if I do, I just relax and let it pass. It usually passes pretty quickly. I trust the universe and let its positive energy guide me. And no, I'm not religious nor am I a very spiritual person. But I've learned that the key to our happiness and well being lays within ourselves. In fact, happiness is a decision. The best one you can make.
Anybody remember the band Europe? The guy with the big perm singing "The Final Countdown"? Well, their latest album is really good and a lot more contemporary. I really dig their new single, a stripped down little ballad.
