Got up early this morning to have coffee at my favorite caf. I love summer mornings before it gets really hot. The air is still clear and it's fun to watch people hurry to work. And of course girls in pretty summer dresses...

I have my first interview tomorrow ever since being thrown back on the job market. They don't hire full time but are looking for a freelance copywriter. Freelance work can be very lucrative if you get enough gigs. It's also nice to hop from agency to agency and meet a lot of new people. Still, the way things are going with the economy I'd prefer a permanent position. I might have another one next week from one of the best and most creative agencies in the country. That'd be awesome!

Any grahpic designers out there who are specialized in interior design and architecture? I'm looking for people who are interested in working on my hotel project.

A comment on yesterday's blog prompted me to dig out a record I haven't listened to in a while: Butch Walker's project "1969". I just love "Save A Place". The guy is such a huge talent. In a perfect world he'd be a superstar.
