Michael Jackson part II. I went to a record store yesterday (after going to the pet store) to pick up the new Rob Thomas disc. When I browsed through some other stuff, I noticed that the entire Michael Jackson section was empty. The cashier told me that they were completely sold out. Later on in the local evening news they also mentioned that his label, Sony, has to press new copies as his entire catalogue is sold out. This begs the question, who buys these records? Fans who want the same albums over again or people who a) have never heard of Jackson before (they must have lived under a rock then) or b) didn't like him before and get the records now because he's dead? The mind boggles...
Okay, time for a little suvey (well, for the 2-3 people who read my blog, lol!): Is licking the foam off somebody else's s Starbucks lid a bit weird/creepy? Yep, happened this morning. There's this woman who's been asking me out a couple of times and I finally agreed to meet her for coffee. After I finished my Latte, she reached over, grabbed the lid of my cup (without asking or anything) and licked off the foam. Then she said "I hope you don't mind...". *ehem*
