Is anybody reading "Monocle" around here? OK, it's probably no the sort of mag that gets a lot attention on SG, but I like it for its incredible wealth and in-depth information on culture, art, design, travelling, politics etc. In fact, it's one of the few lifestyle mags I actually read for the articles. There's also a cartoon at the end of every issue. It was created by Tyler Brule, the creator of "Wallpaper".

I'm really excited about tonight's "Begin of Summer Party" at this really posh hotel overlooking Zurich. There's a huge BBQ, a couple of bars, DJ's - the works... Too bad the weather isn't too great. Still, should be a lot of fun.
Really digging The Gaslight Anthem. I think I mentioned their "The '59 Sound" record a couple of days ago. It's basically the punk version of Bruce Springstreen. I love their old school lyrics about growing up, old cars and stuff. Reminds of my youth when I heard albums like Bryan Adam's "Cuts Like A Knive" the first time. The kind of simple lyrics everybody can relate to.
