*Crawls back to sanity*
Ah ha ... there you all are .
Well my ribs are mended, my wrist is mended and I'm back from the virtual dead. *wave*.
On the down side I just got made redundant ... on the up side I have loads of time to get myself reintroduced to you glorious people! Wow it's been a while ... and things have changed around here since I last popped by! May take a while to catch up me thinks!
Ack well I'll have to start hoaring my writing skills out freelance for a while until there is some employment out there in the ether!
So tell me:
Starbucks - legendary coffee house or corporate nightmare?
30 - is that really the time a girl gets really dirty?
Flight of the Conchords - heroes or zeros?

Flight of the Conchords - Doesn't do it for me.
As for Starbucks... this could get long. I mean, at one point they were just a small coffee shop in Seattle. They got successful, opened a few more, and kept going. For one small business to have so much success is commendable and admirable.
However, it wasn't until the last time I was stateside that I saw why people hate them so much. We don't get it to the same degree in the UK, but on the other side of the pond they're everywhere!! I fail to understand how you need two Starbuck's facing each other. I'm sure I read somewhere that there's an intersection in New York that has a Starbuck's on each corner. I can believe it.
Kudos to them for being successful, but they've gone too far. And as for opening up Starbuck's right next to small independent coffee houses to drive them out of business... shame on you! Lest you forget your roots, guys?
