THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO COMMENTED, YOUR ALL SO KICK ASS IT HURTS
That was way quicker than I expected, quite a nice suprise really
Other than that. Hmmm.
My world has changed so much in the passed 6 months. I went from a boring job with amazing people, to a boring job with people who would barely acknowledge me.
I became rebellious, I became bored. I turned up late everyday, I threw a million sickies either for interviews to get out there or simply because I couldn't deal with being awake.
On one side my world spiralled out of control, I sank into depression on a fairly major scale. I'm not ashamed, I knew that this wasn't me.
On the other side I started to live, SG meets, pubs, bars , people. I have seen more gigs in the passed 6 months than I have in my entire life.
Things are pretty good at the mo. I pulled myself out of that hell I called work and I've started a new job. My brain no longer feels stagnant, I have a motivation to get up, to get to work, to drag myself in however I feel. I've never felt like this before. I have responsibility, I feel needed, I have a creative outlet that isn't just a fevered dream.
I hope that this drive to succeed stays with me.
There are other things, lost friends, lost opportunities playing on my mind. But for the first time in my life I do not feel lonely, not even when I am on my own.
On a lighter note!
I went to a couple of absolutely kick ass gigs over the passed couple of weeks. Firstly, freebie winning goodness! Won tickets to go and see the amazing Vincent Black Shadow and Britt Black in the tiniest venue possible. It was completely awesome!! Thanks to Phobot, Fifine and Del for keeping me company amidst my crazed bouncing around.
Behold the weird and wonderful photos of my phone.......
The vincent Black Shadow
Britt Black
Britt's bassist - he's so pretty!
Getting there was an absolute 'mare what with train strikes, rail side fires and heatwaves.
The second gig, The Foo Fighters in Hyde Park, which immense and amazing. I got to see two of my fave bands in the entire universe QOTSA and the Foos, not to forget Juliette and the Licks and Motorheads. There was Angels and Airwaves too, I don't care how much you love them, they sucked!!!
Behold the beautiful Dave Grohl....
The lovely Fifine and Phobot chilling out whilst Angels and Airwaves were on...
and Me!
Oh god and then there was sailing! New job, team-building day - Yes me, the scardiest scardey cat on earth had to learn to sail a 45ft yacht on the sea.!!!!!!! woooooooooooooohooo. It was the coolest experience ever - free food, free champagne, and a chance to try and drown my new colleagues. yipyip. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar im a pirate
And finally:
Obligatory questions of doom:
1) Are you a land lubber or scurvy sea dog?
2) Would you rather see the mountains or sea?
3) Where do you think the greatest place on earth is?
4) What is the most creative thing you've done?
5) What is your fave photo? (either of you or by you, or something you just adore)
6) Does fortune really favour the brave?
7) The last dream you had?
8) Does love really make the world go round?
Wowzers that was an epic one. Stay gorgeous lovelies
In the words of Arnie - I'll be back!
