Oh two updates in one week you lucky things :p

Planning for the Queenstown trip begins.
Exciting times lay ahead.
The kids show at work continues to keep my days busy.
J is accompanying us to goff night, this makes me feel fuzzy on the inside.
I'm happy that I've rekindled old friendships.
I'm happy I've embarked on new friendships.
Today I am happy I...

Where to begin ....

Ok I will start with Tuesday last week and my experience at a fast food joint.

I thought Id swing by LJS and grab a bite to eat. I had just been served and my food was cooking so it would take a few minutes, no worries. I was casually waiting at the counter when an older blonde lady sauntered over,...

Some people are just major assholes. mad

I've been known to do stupid childish stunts and they usually end up with me having to go to the emergency room.

Well Circadian Rhythms was funkalicious! I had a blast. It was a rather busy CR, the dance floor was packed all night and I have to say that _poe_ did a fabulous set (and he played my song (Rob Zombie - Pussy Liquor)) so I was a happy chappy.

I didn't end up in bed till around 6.30am. Managed to get about three hours sleep...

Glad to hear that the birdies have been leaving you alone. Your new vans sound cool, I have been waiting to get a pair of slip ons for a while now.

I've just had lunch down by the lake. Swans are so bloody vicious! AND a Kingfisher nearly killed me. Dive bombing bastard.

We had a whole lot of art work come in for the art awards yesterday. That was fun smile Currently it is being judged and the exhibition will open on 21 June. I've spent today working on the gallery schedule for 2006. I love...

What a random weekend.

I had plans. I changed them all due to a bunch of weird circumstances.

I caught up with B on Saturday morning and went shopping. Then we hit the Steak House, had a few beers and chatted. It was really good. I zoomed home, got changed and then headed over to the ice rink to watch the Auckland vs Canterbury game...

After work on Friday N and I headed down to good old H-Town for Luke's birthday party. The night was interesting, some moron thought my tattoos were fake, although he soon changed his opinion after I hacked into them with my nails to show they didn't scratch off. I think the fact that I drew a bit of blood (unintentional) helped tongue

I had the token...

It's rainy, cold and my jaw still hurts. I've been playing dentist and I'm wondering if I have TMJ. My jaw has always made popping and clicking noises and I can jut it out at all sorts of crazy angles. Did I pop once too often? I have decided that if it isn't better by this time next week I shall make a dentist's appointment...

So much for my antisocial weekend.

I spent Saturay night at the Viper Lounge and Sunday surrounded my N's family.

It wasn't all that bad actually but I think there are times when I actually going to need to force myself to not go out and party. *sigh* That won't be happening this coming weekend however. I have a huge weekend planned full of Nick...

I fucken hate power cuts *grumbles*. Luckily, it was only a short one.

What have I been up to in the past few days you ask? Let's see .... listening to hideous amounts of hair rock, getting excited about the Nick Cave gig, watching cheesy chick flicks, sorting out the issues left over from the weekend and spending time with the sexalicious N.

"Glitter shines...

When's Nick Cave playing? Is this going to be one of my classic missed-gig opportunities? Last year, I missed Sonic Youth by a day in Auckland.

So am I going to be shown the dark underbelly of Auckland? So far, my strangest night was in a bar in Riverhead.

But my favourite NZ bar has to be the Wunderbar in Lyttleton!

I leave Dublin on the 15th, don't get to Auckland till the 17th...
I'll tell more when I get there - but then I'm out of Auckland for a few weeks till the end of June, then I'm around for around three weeks.

I'm kind of glad that my birthday party is all over and done with. Don't get me wrong. It was great fun but the prep, the mess gaaah! And there were feathers EVERYWHERE. It was like a feather fucking orgy had occured.

Anyway, the night began with some 20's music and we slowly worked our way into the 80's before the kareoke machine was given...

Dear North Shore City Council Officer,

I suspect you may be in need of some reading spectacles or an eye examination at the very least. How is it that you did not see my exceptionally large PARKING PERMIT? Yes that's right, a permit ... one of those things that gives you permission to park somewhere, which is otherwise bound by a set of rules that...
