Today's blog topic is the answer to the question: Which artist across all of history would you pick to create a fan art piece of you?
After much thought, I would choose Tamara Lempicka. She was one of the most appreciated artists of the Art Deco era. Polish by origin, she fled with one of her husbands from persecution by the nazis. The chief scandalist of her epoque, she mainly portrayed prostitutes. She had an amazing eye, she was unique, although you can see her suffering and depression in the eyes of the women she portrayed. If I had the opportunity, I would like to pose for her in a painting, because I feel some strange connection with her art.
