Tenebrism refers to a dramatic use of light in dark in painting, and is a popular feature in art by great Spanish masters such as el Greco. While these pictures from the making-off of my set with Daleko perhaps dont ascend to such levels of artistic greatness, they illustrate the typically tenebristic lighting conditions inside the average Spanish flat.
