Last night I was reminded of why I prefer to shop online, even though it's hard to try stuff on that way. wink I went to Torrid--awesome store BTW, nothing against them--to look for a concert outfit and was hounded by a clerk. She kept asking if I was a model like 5 times.
Her: "You're just so tall and beautiful, and we get a lot of plus-size models in here, and they're always kind of standoffish like you."
Me: whatever
Then she goes out of her way to mention she's straight. It seemed like a clumsy hick attempt to hit on me, but sorry bitch, you need to improve your skills! Damn right I'm standoffish, I hate being accosted by sales clerks. If I need help, I'll ask for it. mad
OK, rant over. Deep breath. I'll blow off some steam tonight with some cool SGC'ers!

I hate evil sales clerks...I work in retail and had a long discussion with a co-worker about how we hate it when people hound us, so we try not to ride our customer's asses, but our DM is like super crazy when she's in the store and she does it for us...poor people...
You shoulda been like "I know Im pretty, thank you, your not my type" and walked away...lol

I completely agree! The first third or so was indeed a Euro boobfest, but when that movie turned the corner it turned it quickly. Yep, I did see the eyeball scene, and that was easily the most disturbing to me. I felt so bad for her. That kind of bummed me out a bit actually. However, I really enjoyed the revenge factor of that movie. I also agree that the imagery will easily become part of cinematic history.
